New Interchangeable Offshore Workshops
MMS is pleased to announce that – in response to client requirements – our fleet of three, purpose built 26m catamarans serving the offshore renewable energy sector have been fitted with interchangeable workshops that will enable technicians to have onboard facilities for essential works.
Sitting on top of our three vessels; MMS Crusader, Supreme and Superior, the interchangeable workshops have been constructed and fitted to hold essential tools and equipment that will enable on board engineers to undertake any pre work whilst on the vessel and for all essential installation, operational work and maintenance requirements whilst on site.
The decision to build and fit the workshops comes on the back of a recent project where the need to have this onboard facility was identified and recommended to the client by MMS and where the decision was then taken by us to make this a permanent fixture on our vessels.
Our vessels offer a range of services that support the offshore renewable energy sector across installation, operation and maintenance. Capabilities include:
- Operating as supply vessels
- Providing fuel transfer and lubricant exchange
- Offering survey work and dive support
- Transferring crew and providing guard work
- Providing safety standby services
- Deploying ROVs
- Delivering cleaning services to monopiles and other offshore structures
