MMS Superior Facilitates Drone Surveys on the Humber Gateway Offshore Wind Farm
In recent news, our latest edition to the fleet, the MMS Superior, was chartered to transport our client’s operatives to conduct routine inspections on the Humber Gateway offshore wind farm, in Grimsby, East Yorkshire.
Our most recent innovation is part of MMS Offshore’s commitment to investing in new vessels and equipment, ensuring we constantly evolve with the offshore renewable energy industry. Already holding a reputation for exceeding customer satisfaction, the MMS Superior and its crew were commissioned by our client to support them in conducting drone surveys in the offshore environment. The vessel was deployed from our strategic support base in Grimsby, which allowed for fast transport to the Humber Gateway. Manned with a highly trained crew, our team ensured a safe and comfortable journey to the offshore site. On arrival, the vessel’s 90 square-meter deck provided an ideal landing deck for the drone and offered our client’s team a wealth of space to operate.
With a maximum cargo load of 15 tonnes, and the ability to transport both cargo and personnel, the MMS Superior is the ideal vessel to facilitate operations in the offshore wind industry.
