MSS has been serving the marine industry for over 30 years and – in that time – has provided services to some of the largest windfarms in the UK. These include Hornsea 1, Greater Gabbard, Sheringham Shoal and preliminary work on Dogger Bank.
Combining industry leading knowledge with first class facilities, MMS offers a range of services from a fleet of three, 26 metre, multi-purpose catamarans that support the offshore renewable energy sector across installation, operation and maintenance.
MMS Crusader – with a deck area of 80m², this vessel is capable of:
- Carrying two x 20ft or four x 10ft containers at a total weight of 16 tonnes
- Transferring fuel up to 16,200 litres
- Providing a general engineering workshop housed in the starboard hull
- Offering accommodation in purpose built portable deck containers.
MMS Supreme – with a deck area of 90m², this vessel is capable of:
- Carrying two x 20ft or four x 10ft containers
- Transferring fuel up to 22,000 litres
- Providing an integrated pressure washing system utilised for boat landing and foundation cleaning
- Providing a galley area for refreshment and entertaining including TVs and radios
- Offering on board accommodation in the form of four cabins sleeping eight personnel.
MMS Superior – with a deck area of 90m², this vessel is capable of:
- Carrying two x 20ft or four x 10ft containers
- Providing offshore transit at high cruising speeds whilst maintaining economic efficiency
- Enhanced performance in adverse weather conditions
- Providing a galley area for refreshment and entertaining including TVs and radios
- Offering on board accommodation in the form of three cabins housing six personnel.
All three vessels have the capabilities to:
- Operate as supply vessels
- Provide fuel transfer and lubricant exchange
- Offer survey work and dive support
- Transfer crew and provide guard work
- Provide safety standby services
- Deploy ROVs
- Deliver cleaning services to monopiles and other offshore structures
